TechLite Solutions is the service division of TechLite Designs, a company focused on applying technology to everyday living to provide solutions for Safety, Security, Comfort, and Convenience for people at work and at home.
Today's home technologies are not much different than Small Business technology requirements. TechLite Solutions specializes in:
Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Computers, Networks, Printers, and other Information Technology solutions.

TechLite Designs is a company that designs and develops technology solutions, products and services. TechLite Designs has patented and has additional patents pending for a safety lighting device for residential and commercial use. We are currently working with a manufacturing partner to build the first version of the PowerSURE™ Safety Light for distribution. Management and Ownership
TechLite Designs was founded in 2003 by Bob Barton of Grafton, MA. Bob has accumulated 30 years of experience in the high tech industry holding a variety of executive and technical hands-on, manager positions. Bob has extensive experience in:
Information Technology services and procedures,
Product Design and development,
Customer Service System diagnosis and repair, and
Home Automation, Networking, lighting control and Audio/Video technologies.

Business Information Technology Expertise
Most recently, Bob was a founding member of InfiniSwitch Corporation, a high speed computer network switch OEM. He served as Senior Director of IT Operations, Facilities and Engineering Services. He participated in developing product strategy and delivery services for InfiniSwitch products and managed the Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Systems Integration organizations. Bob also managed the Microsoft Certified Partner Program development activity and planned, designed and integrated all IT services including Voice and Data Communications Systems, and Business Technology infrastructure.
Prior to InfiniSwitch, Bob was a Systems Integration Senior Engineering Manager for Data General Corporation where he managed development and support teams and participated in delivering several new Microsoft Windows based hardware and software products to market. As an OEM Liaison to Microsoft, Bob visited Microsoft's Redmond campus frequently, assisting the Hardware Certification Labs with diagnosis and testing procedures. He redesigned DG's entire Windows NT® product manufacturing packaging process to improve the customer's end user experience using Microsoft Windows solutions and products.

Home Automation Expertise
Bob's Home Automation experience started early working in a family owned business with his Dad installing lighting, audio systems and remote controlled solutions to homes, factories and country clubs. Bob has pre-wired homes while under construction to deliver home technology solutions upon competion of construction. He is currently preparing for a Home Technology Integrator's (HTI+) certification which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to deliver state-of-the-art home technology solutions.
Bob’s design work accomplishments include Web-Site design and development, Corporate Logo design and graphic arts for product packaging. Bob designed several residential home additions and sub-contracted and supervised their construction. He also designed and installed solar energy heating collectors (look for step-by-step how-to-do-it article coming soon), security systems, the lighting, electrical wiring and heating systems. His interior design and furnishing skills include Kitchen design, custom hand made fine furniture, fine wooden clocks, office furniture, novelty bedroom furniture, custom free standing and built-in cabinetry, unique home entryways, fireplace mantles and surrounds.
New Product Development
As an independent product developer, Bob’s design and development efforts originated with custom electronic digital clocks and music devices. Bob was constantly in demand to build some of the first available personal computers for many clients. In early 1980’s Bob started TechniGraphic Designs on a part-time basis. He designed, built, and delivered to market a color video graphics controller and software for personal computers. Bob also designed and wrote a software package for veterinarians to use for animal diagnosis. Bob is a member of the Inventor's Association of New England and WPI Venture Forum. He has studied electronics and computer architecture design at MIT and Stanford University and has several patents pending on his product designs.
